Interclub bowls competitions

Darra Cementco was in the first group of Brisbane clubs to play in this innovative event and it continues to grow each year. In the 2026 season we have 4 teams entered, – Men’s and Open (mixed) team in the Alpha Division, and Mens teams in Beta and Gamma Divisions..

Results for 2026

• Open Alpha  – Winners of section in Brisbane -knocked out in playoffs.
• Alpha Men – Third in sectional play.
• Beta Men – Sixth in sectional play
• Gamma Men – 3^rd place in section

Overall a great result for the club and thanks to all the players who represented us.

There are 5 bowls districts in Brisbane area and Darra Cementco is located in the Cunningham District. As such, our members play in a number ofcompetitions organised by the District as well as possibly the major event of the season and certainly the most traditional, District Pennants. This competition commences in July and runs until early September and, once it commences more club specific information will be placed here.
